IRCcrew

IRCcrew was founded to maintain IRC channels for Assembly '97 and took its present form in '98. Our primary function has been to maintain and monitor the Assembly IRC channels, but we also provide helpdesk and information services via IRC during the Events.

The official IRCNet Assembly channels are:

  • !UCR7KAssembly - The primary channel (Multilingual: Finnish & English )
  • !ZKGT8Assemblytv - AssemblyTV's channel
  • ...other channels will be formed closer to the event

All party channels are monitored by IRCcrew, here to serve and protect. You can email us at irccrew@irccrew.org
If you have any problems or questions about the party come around and we'll do our best at helping you!

Additional information and statistics about party channels can be found at the Channels -page
And links to popular IRC-clients can be found at the Links -page

    • Perverse or in other way stupid URLs
  9. No "clones" (ie multiple nicks from the same person)
  10. No excessive idling. ("excessive" will be defined relative to the channel population
  11. No advertising! (without special permission from chanops)
***IRCcrew holds the right to interpret and enforce these rules as they see fit***
**Any violations of laws, international or domestic, will be reported to the authorities**

We also ask you to follow these suggestions whenever possible:

  • Instead of using Euro-currency character, use E or EUR

A direct violation of these rules will result in an immediate removal from the channel. If the same person continuously misbehaves he/she will be banned from the channel for a period of time.
